At a distance of 5 km from Palioseli and 36 km from Konitsa and at an altitude of 1140m, are Pades. The village is built, like Palioseli, on the southern slopes of Smolikas, near a characteristically massive rock called “Petrini Gria” and is surrounded by rich forests of oak and black pine.
