The theater of Dodoni, which is located in the Municipality of Dodoni, is one of the largest and best preserved ancient Greek theaters, with a capacity of about 18,000 people. It was built in the 3rd BC. century, within the framework of the ambitious building program carried out by Pyrrhus, king of Epirus, in order to renovate the pan-Hellenic sanctuary and give it a monumental character.
