The hospital of Filiates has been offering its services uninterruptedly since 1947, but its history begins in 1929 where on the occasion of the many fatal cases that existed at that time due to lack of medical care, Senator Petros Bebis conceived the idea of establishing a hospital in Filiates which at that time was the center of economic and social life of the prefecture of Thesprotia.
